This isn't really news to anyone who has a healthy sense of sekpticism for media in general, but Fox has officially peeled back their mask and revealed themselves as the right wing propanganda engine we've known they were all along. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has probably the most brief synopsis of this I could post.

A spokesman for News Corp used the "free market" defense saying in a prepared statement:

"News Corporation has always believed in the power of free markets and organizations like the RGA, which have a pro-business agenda, support our priorities at this most critical time for our economy,"

Which is a very interesting defense when you consider how and why the U.S. economy is in the state it is currently in. It was supply side or "Reaganomics" and complete deregulation of the banking industry that caused the financial crisis in the first place.

If you watch the news at all you know about the GOP's newest hero Scott Brown. Yes Scott Brown is a Republican who won Ted Kennedy's seat in the liberal stronghold of Massachussetts. So what does Brown's victory say about the state of politics in America right now? Well it says a lot of things...  but let's first look at what the Republicans are saying it means and analyze the merits of their arguments.

1 - according to Larry Kudlow at Real Clear Politics Brown's victory means that Tax cuts are the most important thing on people's minds. If this is the case, he is in line with the president, who recently gave American's the biggest middle class tax cut in history.

This is an interesting image...  it shows which states have legalized inbreeding vs. legal same sex marriage. The balance is pretty unbelievable.

Climate change denialists are hilarious people. They’re the same people who think that evolution is a leftist conspiracy to destroy Jesus. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, which is why they are usually hard right because to be hard right you don’t have to think about or study for anything… you just have blind faith that what you’re being told is “right” because of freedom, and jesus, and apple pie, and other lofty idealistic nonsense that makes people feel all warm and fuzzy patriotic inside.
